Ken Paine was a very well known pastel painter, member of the British Pastel Society and Vice President of La Societe des Pastellistes de France, he was particularly known for painting faces.Indeed there was a Sky Arts programme "Ken Paine - Painting Faces"
This study of an African Woman in watercolour and pastel is signed and dated 1994.
Framed and in excellent condition.
