Watercolour, signed & dated in 1970 by Miles O'Reilly (20th century British artist) and inscribed '611 Squadron (West Lancashire) Auxiliary Airforce, Battle of Britain 1940'. The painting depicts a Messerschmitt 109 being shot down by a spitfire from 611 Squadron, which was based at RAF Duxford in 1940.Framed in light wood with taupe mount.
