Well executed signed watercolour by Rodney Diggens (1937- ) of the late Tony Brooks (1932-2022) who competed in Formula 1 between 1956 and 1961, wining six Grand Prix, four in a Vanwall and two for Ferrari. Tony Brooks, known as the "Racing Dentist", was an extremely talented driver, third in the drivers championship in 1958 and second in 1959. Sensibly he retired in 1961 and consequently became one of the few drivers from the fifties to survive.
