Description
Framed watercolour with gouache highlights of Tazio Nuvolari driving an Alfa Romeo P3 in 1932.The P3 was the first genuine single seat Grand Prix racing car, powered by a straight eight supercharged 2654cc engine.
It won 4 Grand Prix in the 1932 season in the hands of Nuvolari and in various engine sizes went on to win a further 42 times between 1932-35.
Painted and signed by John Young (1930-2015).
